A Little Bit of Background...

Being a private practice clinician began for me in 2015, when I started my own Christian-based counseling practice focusing on Mental Health Counseling with Trauma and Crisis services. I have been counseling in Detroit for over a decade now. I also started a mentorship program called The Beautiful Ones Women of Influence Circle Inc, which is geared towards influencing women to health, wholeness, and restoration by the hand of God. I am the founder and CEO of IAMSK - Focal Group, which is the acronym for I am My Sister's Keeper. IAMSK is a group of sisters working together to serve their community. I started a non-profit program called Beauty for Ashes Community Outreach Services and Resource Center. The vision of the organization is to "Impact those in the Community through the Ministry of Healing." I strongly believe that impacting others can be done through love and compassion by offering help and resources to women and men as well as the youth in the community.

I received an undergraduate degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Human Resources Management and my Master of Arts Degree in Counseling. I am currently pursuing my Doctorate Degree at Ashland Theological Seminary. I know what it means to have a drive to want to do and be more than what you see around you, or what you see when you look in the mirror.

I currently volunteer at my local church, Greater Grace Temple under the directorship of Bishop Charles H. Ellis III in several ministries. I also provide mental health services and trainings to spread awareness and further eliminate stigma among the church members and in the community. I am the Director of Women2Women Outreach Ministry ministering and giving back to women in homeless shelters who are broken from many facets of life. Helping people is my calling. Counseling is what I am chosen to do and I am good at it, because it's never about me. It's about you feeling whole, loved and seen.
